I have found some things on the WR like a Service Manual on line but as you said, little else seems to exist. Maybe someone else on the Forum may have one or some information to share I hope! Best, Bob. Has anyone found a copy of the user manual since this topic was last posted in?

This set played somewhat on receipt with power jumpered in , but replacing all of the electrolytic capacitors except for the 5mfd non-polarized capacitor which I don't have a replacement for and cleaning the tuning capacitor contacts really brought it to life. The only major issue with this set besides the hole someone drilled in the side for an antanna conector was the that battery compartment was first damaged by corrosion, then crudely repaired with sheet metal and than ruined again by another set of leaking batteries, so there was just no saving this one, because there weren't even contacts left in the shattered bottom of the battery tube!

Can any of you guess what set I stole a suitable battery compartment out of? Hint: it was from an American made set from the same time period and I think only one model used this battery compartment - Matt. I think the same battery holder was used on the Zenith Royal as well? I had a WR that I used the same holder for as the original was completely missing. This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The WR plugs in to a standard wall outlet and can be placed on a table or mounted on the wall.

When the receiver gets a signal from the transmitter one of 4 different tones Classical , Westminster Chime, Ding Dong, Whistle will sound for a few seconds. There is also a volume control so you can set the sound to the desired level. The receiver can be user programmed so the 12VDC terminal and one relay will activate for 10 minutes if this is desired. The tones will still sound for several seconds.

Connect the end of the power supply to the receiver. Plug the power supply into a wall outlet. Welcome to ManualMachine. We have sent a verification link to to complete your registration.
