You can change your vote now! My further reasoning behind "The werewolf should be killable with normal weapons" is 1 They can die from normal weapons in tabletop.
With a greater or lesser degree of ease. To me, sticking silver weapons in the observatory just screams "plot device addition". If you have to put them in, give them to a shop - Tseng's Herbal Remedies comes to mind - and make players buy them, and if they have it with them at Griffith Park, then they can use it.
Shooting it in the face may be a much less "cool" way to kill it, but it's the first thing everybody tries. Not only is that gaming logic "Big bosses must die On the flip side, there's no reason why we can't kill the werewolf when we can kill off the Chiropteran Behemoth. The potential power gain between Griffith Park and the fight with the Sheriff isn't big enough to account for this. I haven't reached any of these "werewolf easter eggs" in the UP7.
Werewolves are such a common part of occult lore nowadays that even people who have never played a computer game know that they are vulnerable to silver. Also, if you haven't already I haven't gotten to Griffth Park yet , could you add an "Inspection" blue-glowy-thing to the power switch on the shed, and the observatory doors control, just to make it easier to show the other way to kill it?
If you want to add in a silvered weapon, then I'd add an Inspection rating to that, too. Remember: It's not the size of your fangs that matters; it's what you stick them in. Quote from: Rick Gentle on April 21, , pm. Okay, looking at the results of the poll I have for now decided to add the damageable werewolf as a full feature of the plus patch only.
I made some improvements to it, so: 1 Attacking with melee weapons will do 10 points of damage twice don't know why, this just happens but only with advanced melee weapons no knifes and no blunt weapons except for the hammer. I managed to kill him once in godmode with melee but I don't have the time to test it for ranged. If you have any suggestions, name them now! I can always tweak the balance later on for the UP 8. Since he killed one of them, it sounds like he kept whatever silver weaponry he had on his person.
He was supposed to hide from the werewolves, not duke it out. Maybe he had some silver bullets for his trusty Colt, but he was hardly expecting to have to provide for our character, too. I never heard of this bug too MashYouGood Topic Creator 9 years ago 5. It took a couple of goes, but I got it to work. I think it was the save game s I was playing. I reinstalled the game with patch 8. I re-installed with patch 1. Finally, I restarted clean, and Therese appeared.
Seems there was some glitch with a particular save game I was playing. While this is true, Therese missing is nothing normal even for Bloodlines. MashYouGood Topic Creator 9 years ago 7.
How does this mod work? Is it just glorified or permanent "Possession" magic? Do they follow you through load screens like when you open doors etc? Can you feed on them? Can you equip them with items? Are they upgradeable? The 'Companion Mod'. Some willingly, some through force and trickery. Don't wanna spoil, but there's an item to help you. A few of them just join when you say "hey, join", but the good ones usually require some sort of mini quest.
In addition, you can "possess" your party members and change brains with them. I believe you can't do it on those who join willingly, and they must be dominated somehow, but I am not fully sure on that. That means you can go around the game using Jeannette's body, for example.
You also use their stats, which is mostly useful when you need a discipline you don't have. But you could use other stats too. If you have unspent xp at the time, you can spend it temporarily on the person you're possessing, you get them back when you leave. And also, you can Embrace Heather or Yukie, after you're given permission by the Prince, if you have a good relationship with them. Sorry, but there is no end out of it. This is how Troika did it Dimon 9 years ago 3. What secret wolf ending?
I guess my walkthrough for this game is out of date SpazH3d 9 years ago 4. Where would one watch this ending? I've never heard of it. This ending was restored by the plus version of the UP and you will only get the option to see it, if you found the Luckee Star easter egg. Both are described a little more in the walkthrough which is included with the UP which is the most up-to-date walkthrough as I keep it updated :!
Dimon 9 years ago 6. So the walkthrough is included with the UP download? What format is it? Also, i downloaded the UP from The patch scrolls.. Or does it install with the patch in a directory..? The walkthrough is located in the Extras folder that the UP creates and it is an updated version of the text walkthrough by vampyri lestat which is also available from here.
Dimon 9 years ago 8. I did not find where it talked about the easter eggs in the luckee star Dimon posted I neglect the walkthrough sometimes.
